clique is a weekly 21st century discoteque which plays alternative dance, electropop & digital disco in manchester city centre to the city's most glamorous and excitable club kids.

we began four years ago in a room under a pub and in january last year moved to a fabulous 600 capacity venue with a fantastic sound system, in the heart of manchester's northern quarter.

clique's joyous, technicolourful club-goers and hysterical atmosphere have attracted the attention of both the national style magazines and the biggest dance press in the world. awarded club of the year 2009 by the manchester evening news, named one of the best 10 clubs in the country by mixmag in 2008, and manchester's best club of 2008 by attitude magazine, clique brings its party to the mint lounge every friday night.

we start each party at 10pm and close at 3am. entry is only £4 before 11pm, £6 after or or £5 with a flyer (prices may vary with guest djs). if you are starting your evening early we also have drinks promotions at the mint lounge which is renowned as one of the best bars in the whole city. all spirits served are high quality brands and each evening you'll find clique cocktails available cheaply at the bar. there is also a cloakroom which will take care of your bags and coats for the evening.

there is no dress code, but since the very first clique we have been encouraging people to 'dress up for dancing' on our posters and flyers. people have taken this request to their hearts and in the last three years we've had people coming in glitter and dayglo, brooches and lace, hats and shades, ties and coats, jeans and trainers, home made clothes, braces and bowties, vintage wear... feel free to dress up however you want, and join our party.
